Obituary of Wayne W. Fullerton, Sr.

Wayne W. Fullerton Sr., age 71, of Ogdensburg, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at his home. There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Wayne is survived by his children, Wayne Fullerton Jr. and his wife, Nichole, of Richville, NY and Elizabeth Rathbun of Gouverneur, NY; grandchildren, Dustin Rathbun, Cheyenne Rathbun, Makayla Rathbun, and Ryan Fullerton; a sister, Sue Cox of Brewerton, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Winfred and Gladys Fullerton and two sisters, Elizabeth Bessette and Norma Wilcox. Wayne was born in Potsdam, NY, on September 12, 1950, to the late Winfred J. and Gladys H. (Jock) Fullerton. He graduated from Potsdam Central School with a high school diploma. After high school Wayne served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1980, later working several years as a stock clerk for Great American in Potsdam, NY. Wayne enjoyed riding his bike, sports, fishing, and spending time with his family.
