Lou-Ann, Tim & Molly, I am so sorry to learn of Gary's passing. I will fondly remember the many conversations I have had with him over the past 40 years of knowing him. He was a great teacher who taught me things I will always remember and after high school, we continued to talk often in my office about finances and the world of politics. I always enjoyed those chats. Though he was an intimidating figure to us as teenagers, when you got to know him, he was a funny and caring man. As I look back, I will think of the party we had in our younger years at your home, playing lawn jarts with him in your yard. I will miss him. I hope you can embrace the good memories and take solace in those times. You all have my most sincere condolences. Michael Brashaw

Lou-Ann, I'm not sure you remember me or not, you used to baby sit for my brother and me. I just saw that your dad passed and I wanted to say I'm very sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you and remembering you. I also remember how beautiful your dad always kept his lawn in the neighborhood. I didn't have him as a teacher, but he was always kind when I would walk by. Lou-Ann and family, I was so sorry to read of Gary's passing. After teaching with Gary for so many years, it is sad to know that another one of the OFA fine teachers is no more. May your memories of the good times sustain you when you are sad. My prayers and condolences go out to you.
